Travel
 |
When travelling by train please
make sure you buy a ticket to Leuven (Flemish) or Louvain (French). Do not
confuse this with Louvain-la-Neuve (another University town). From Brussels
airport take a train to Brussels North and then catch a connecting train to
Leuven. Trains leave every 15-20 mins from the airport to Brussels. Trains from
Brussels to Leuven leave every half-hour. All train information can be found at
the Belgian site or the
English site.
If you prefer to take the taxi from Brussels airport, you will need to exit the
airport building and hail one of the taxis waiting in front. The journey from
Brussels Airport to Leuven costs around 50-60 euro, depending on traffic. |
