“AWITA 2017”: the Founder of B.EST Solutions, EEMA member Company, awarded The Women in IT Awards, technology’s largest diversity event in Azerbaijan
Organized by Azerbaijani Women in ICT (AWIC) “FEMMES DIGITALES” Club, gathered 300 of Azerbaijan’s most prominent IT leaders on January 26, 2017 at Baku’s Mugham Center.
The event showcased the achievements and innovation of women in technology over the last 12 months, identifying new role models and promoting further dialogue around diversity among industry influencers.
The Jury staff was represented by successful men only (no female judges to avoid any sort of bias), representing the leading private ICT structures, well-known universities, media, government institutions and etc.
During the awarding ceremony the founder and CEO of the B.EST Solutions Company, the Asan Imza qualified mobile & e-signature service operator; the Head and the Founder of Azerbaijan Women in ICT Club – FEMMES DIGITALES non-profit organization, Yana Krimpe was awarded in INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR nomination.
Various government structures, leading ICT companies and organizations, as well as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors accredited in Azerbaijan, attended the Award ceremony.
The Ambassador of the United States of America, Mr. Cekuta, his spouse, local statesmen and government officials such as the Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies, Elmir Velizade, the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children of Azerbaijan, Sadaget Gahramanova, Azerbaijan MP Tahir Mirkishili and many others were giving awards to the winners.

Agreement on cooperation signed between "B.EST Solutions" and ISESCO
On 17th November 2016, Azerbaijani company “B.EST Solutions” – the provider of National Mobile-ID (Asan İmza) service in Azerbaijan, and Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) signed a contract on ISESCO BESTDOC PORTAL pilot phase project in Rabat, capital of Kingdom of Morocco. The main subject of the contract is the cooperation of the parties in development and implementation of the advanced cross-border eID and e-workflow platform for ISESCO.
