InfoCert Joins Debate on eIDAS 2.0, Identity Schemes and Digital Wallets as Sponsor of the EEMA Annual Conference

EEMA is proud to announce InfoCert as a sponsor of its Annual Conference for a second consecutive year. As a leading company in the field of qualified trusted solutions, InfoCert will take the lead in debating the impact of proposed changes to the electronic identification and trust services (eIDAS) regulation, and the impact it will have in enabling an interoperable Europe. EEMA’s 35th Annual Conference takes place at Microsoft in London on 8th and 9th June 2022 and will focus on Securing Identity and its Business Models

Head of Business Compliance, Innovation and Strategy at InfoCert, Igor Marcolongo, will Chair an international panel to discuss eIDAS, which was introduced by the EU in 2014 to regulate verifying the identity of individuals and businesses online, as well as the authenticity of electronic documents. Marcolongo will be joined by Lawyer a Timelex, Hans Graux; Trust Services Director at Intesi Group S.p.A., Viky Manaila and the Director of Trust War, Marc Sel. They will consider the impact of the existing regulation and the opportunities and challenges to improve its relevance for the EU digital single market.

InfoCert’s Head of Innovation Portfolio, Fabrizio Leoni, will participate in a session investigating How Existing Identity Schemes Can Create Digital Identity Wallets for Business & Citizens of the Future. The panel will include representatives from Signicat, BankID BankAxept AS and Trust Warp. Meanwhile, Chief Strategy Officer, Carmine Auletta, will evaluate identity as a business, considering the commercial opportunities, with expert insight from Consult Hyperion and Deloitte.
